I am sooooooooo not a morning person...especially this morning. We woke up this morning (5AM!!) to Ollie barking like mad. When we investigated, we found that a large tree in our front yard had been struck by lightning. Since it was blocking the driveway and we both had to work early, we went out and sawed off a few of the branches. Later in the afternoon, Tom and our landlord took care of the rest of the problem. Anyone feel like roasting some marshmallows? I'm feeling thankful that this was the extent of the damage.

Wow, that's kind of crazy. Glad to hear the tree didn't do any other damage when it came down.
