Thank You Michael Phelps

Dear Michael Phelps,

While I know you have upset a lot of people, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you. Due to your very public actions, I was able to have an important discussion with my cousins who are , an impressionable, eight and ten years old. Nothing gets past children these days and your well publicized photo was, apparently, the talk of the school yard. My cousins casually asked me what I thought about "what Michael Phelps did" and I was able to give them my opinion. We discussed your actions in great detail. Your photographed actions were a springboard for a discussion that parents, mentors, teachers and pastors should be having with children and so I thank you! Oh and great job earning all those medals at the Olympics too!
