Well, I have to say I had a difficult time getting into this book. However, Once I got over the "hump" I actually quite enjoyed it. The ending is suspenseful and has a dramatic twist that demonstrates the power of perspective. My only complaint is that some of the author's descriptions are a bit over the top. Here I have added an artist's interpretation of Mrs. De Winter discovering the cottage by the sea. So, book 2 down of my 25 in 2009 challenge...only 23 more to go!
